Model Year 1976 (South Africa)

The South-African Jeans beetle is the third special edition produced by Volkswagen Of South Africa. This Jeans beetle appeared on the market at the end of the year 1975 and is based on the model 1976. It was available in 4 colors with the logo Jeans affixed on the flanks and on the engine cover. Chrome elements are replaced by elements painted in black. Rear lights are "elephants feet" with a supports that adapt to the flat fenders. Other particularity of South-African Jeans beetle: it is a right-hand driving !00
produced at 1400 units.

Equipment
South African's Jeans beetles are equipped of: a sport steering wheel, a cigar lighters, a central tunnel tray. the padded dashboard receives a tachometer, a voltmeter and a oil pressure gauge. 


Wheels:
Jeans are equipped with Rostyle wheels (manufactured by Guestro Industrie Ltd) with trim. 


Interior:

Upholstery is in jeans cloth and the floor is covered of carpet. The headliner is a white long model
